Easter at Quarry Bank 2013

We are determined that spring will have sprung by this weekend in time for our Easter Eggstravaganza, so everyone think bright sunny thoughts!

We’ve all sorts planned for the perfect family Easter weekend (29 March-1 April, 12-4pm), and will be joined by the Cadburys team on Easter Sunday and Monday, who will be bringing along brilliant activities for you to try out on the Mill Meadow, including giant garden games, face painting and an ‘egg head’ design competition.

There is also the special Cadburys trail to try out around the property, where you will have to hunt the clues to win your prize – a delicious Cadburys egg! (£1 per trail and normal admission to the Mill applies). On Easter Monday we will also be running several egg and spoon races, starting at 1pm in the Mill Meadow, so don’t forget to sign up to a race in the Mill Yard! Winners will receive a certificate, a prize and a picture of their photo finish!

We will also be running Wild Wednesdays on the 3 & 10 April, 12-4pm, when you can join us for some fun in the gardens. There will be the opportunity to make some ‘wild art’ and to go hunting for all kinds of creepy crawlies.

(Are you still thinking those sunny thoughts? Good!) Throughout the Easter holidays we will also be running our ‘Get Outdoors in Springtime!’ weeks, running 2-5  and 8-12 April, 12-4pm. Kids will have the chance to make a nature memo-holder, and follow our springtime trail (50p). The whole family can have a go at exploring the estate and the village with our new geocache trail, launching on the 2nd April.

We hope to see you at some point over the Easter holidays!
